I started out, as most of you do, by watching Bob's TV show. Then one Christmas, my husband, Gary, gave me a Master set and told me to "get on with it".
For many months I was too afraid to touch it, but eventually I unwrapped the box and set about painting my first ever landscape. I was hooked, we both then tried to find an instructor and was lucky enough to find a class fairly local. I attended a three day tutorial.
The teacher training classes were held in Holland and I was soon on my way to becoming a fully qualified instructor. As soon as I completed the Landscapes I signed up for the Floral tuition.
On my last week of the flower class I was offered the chance to go straight into the Wildlife training. Needless to say I jumped at the chance.
Within the space
of two years I had gone from watching Bob on the TV to becoming one of his instructors and what a difference it has made to my life. I was determined to follow Bob's philosophy that anyone can, and should, paint.
